Happy birthday little bro!

This summer we traveled home to Michigan for a 1 year shoot. What a great day. Everyone was having fun and we loved spending time with both the birthday boy and his great big brother.
Both boys were so smiley and fun. Big brother taught us how to walk the monkey bars and run in "super fast shoes". We got so many awesome shots even though we were "not allowed to take pictures" big bro was not too into pictures that day! As you can see we still had a few great options to choose from :) Enjoy!

Rain rain go away

Mother nature sure wasn't cooperating that day!

We were looking forward to a fun family shoot on the beach, and it looked like the weather was going to hold off for a small window. Just as we pulled into the lot and met the family, mother nature had other plans! The sky opened up and rain started pouring down. The mom came prepared with umbrellas and raincoats but the wind was just not having it. We made a quick decision to head back to the house and wait out the rain or try some in the house. By the time we got back, the rain let up and we had fun jumping in puddles with the girls. We loved all the pink... umbrellas, rain coats, boots, so cute! Enjoy the pictures, we sure had fun taking them!

Snips and snails and puppy dog tails... that's what little boys are made of

I mean look at those eyes!



What a fun day with one of the cutest little boys around! He was so smiley and we had fun exploring the park with him as he was just perfecting how to walk.



He was in that silly sailor learning how to walk phase so it was so cute to see him getitng used to his walking shoes. He loved being outside and his parents were awesome, what a great family. We had so much fun with them all.

Shannon & Kevin wed in St. Thomas

We could have not asked for a more perfect morning. It was a beautiful day at Lindquist Beach in sunny St. Thomas.



The ceremony was touching, the setting was spectacular and the couple was blissfully happy. We were so happy to be a part of such a wonderful day. Enjoy the sneak peak. Thank you, Lynn & Katie.

We have had so many great shoots lately, I have not had a chance to get them posted. I will catch up over the long holiday weekend (although we have a bunch of shoots next weekend too... well I will get caught up soon).

In October we had so much fun at a shoot for a joint 2 and 4 year old birthday party. We loved being at the pumpkin patch and the kids costumes were adorable! At the end of the party the 2 year old was so excited about all her presents, she started pulling out the tissue from the bags saying "these are for me" it was so cute. We loved being a part of such a great family event.

Sugar and spice and everything nice... Thank heaven for little girls!

I know I say this pretty much every post but... what a GREAT shoot... We just have so much fun capturing these moments.
This one was especially fun because it was a last minute request and we could not have asked for it to turn out any better.
We had about 30 minutes to meet the family before the girls were in a wedding. We found a perfect park near the church and the setting was ideal. The girls were adorable and the family looked great! Don't they look like little princesses? It reminded me of when Katie and I used to get dressed up in our Polly Flinders dresses for Easter or Christmas... so fun and the girls sure were having a blast in their dresses!

Family and Engagement Shoots

We had an awesome weekend filled with fun shoots. Love certainly is in the air in Chicago!

We started out the weekend with an awesome couple who recently got engaged! We are so happy for them and had a ton of fun with helping them capture this really exciting time.

Sunday we started out the day with a super fun family taking photos for "Mom's Christmas present" - What a great season to get started on holiday presents!

We rounded out the weekend end with another engagement shoot! Josh is a musician and we had fun playing up his "playing" for his future wife! We enjoyed the urban feel of this session and had so much fun running around the city with them. They were up for anything and we loved the awesome fall in Chicago weather.

We have had an awesome summer capturing your family moments. Now fall is in the air! It is the season for football, pumpkin baked goods and fall photo shoots! Fall is our favorite time of year, the colors are changing, leaves are falling and sweaters are coming out of storage. What a great season for a fun photo shoot.

Remember the winter holidays are just around the corner. You still have time to book your shoots for family pix, holiday cards, grand parents gifts and something special for moms and dad!
